J.T. Parker & Associates announced its Third Annual Insurance Claim Seminars will be held on Oct. 15, 2007 at the Omni Mandalay at Las Colinas in Dallas, Texas, and on Oct. 22, 2007, at the Omni Austin Hotel Southpark in Austin, Texas.
Speakers include: Attorney Bruce Gaible of the law firm of Hays, McConn, Rice & Pickering, Radie Perry, M.D., Mark Parker, M.D., Kevin McGillicuddy, Tom Lueders and Bill Weldon.
Materials will include a Workers’ Compensation Act & Rules manual with an update of all statutory changes from the 80th Texas Legislature and rules that have been adopted by the DWC. A second manual of significant appellate cases that have been decided during the past year also will be provided.
This course has been approved for minimum continuing legal education credit by the State Bar of Texas Committee on MCLE in the amount of 7.25 credit hours, of which 1 credit hour will apply to legal ethics/professional responsibility credit. Application has been submitted to the Texas Department of Insurance for 8.5 hours of continuing education credit for adjusters and agents, including 2 hours of Consumer Protection.
