Sedgwick Names Welton Global Chief Legal Officer

Sedgwick named Courtney Welton global chief legal officer, general counsel and corporate secretary.

Welton will serve as a member of the executive leadership team and help guide the company’s legal strategy, governance, regulatory compliance and risk management efforts.

Welton has experience leading global legal, compliance and governance functions for organizations. She most recently served as senior vice president, general counsel and chief ethics, privacy and compliance officer at Allstate Insurance Company.

Prior to that, she held senior legal leadership positions at global technology companies, including Motorola Mobility, Google and Lenovo.

Sedgwick is a risk and claims administration partner serving clients across 80 countries.
