AXA XL named Matt Rodliff chief claims officer, Americas.
Rodliff succeeds Jim DiVirgilio, who announced his retirement. DiVirgilio will retire at the end of July and will continue in an advisory role through the end of the year.
Rodliff will be responsible for leading AXA XL’s claims strategy and operations across the Americas region. He will oversee the delivery of claims service to clients and brokers, drive technology adoption and partner with underwriting and risk teams. He is based in Boston.
Rodliff joins AXA XL from Liberty Mutual, where he was vice president, specialized claims responsible for leading multi-line specialty claims teams.
AXA XL provides insurance and risk management products and services for mid-sized companies through large multinationals, and reinsurance services to insurance companies globally.
