Crawford & Company CEO Rohit Verma is stepping down at the end of the year to take the helm of another firm, and the company has named Crawford veteran W. Bruce Swain, Jr. interim president CEO.
Swain, currently the company’s chief financial officer, will also become a member of the Crawford board of directors. He assumes the top role on January 1, 2026. Swain has been with Crawford for more than 30 years.
Verma is leaving to become CEO of Alight Inc., a publicly traded cloud-based human capital and technology-enabled services provider. He is also becoming a member of the firm’s board. Verma, who joined Crawford in 2017, has served as CEO since May 2020. He previously served in a number of senior management roles at Zurich North America, McKinsey & Company and Deloitte.

Holly Boudreau, who joined Crawford in 2013, will succeed Swain as chief financial officer effective January 1, 2026. Boudreau currently serves as senior vice president of tax, treasury and finance transformation. Before Crawford, she was a tax director at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Alight (ALIT) shares were up 3.79% to $2.04, and Crawford (CRD.A) shares were down .18% to $11.14. as of midday trading.
