Venbrook and Cognizant Partner on Claims Processing Service for Carriers

Venbrook Group LLC and Cognizant entered into an insurance claims processing services agreement and partnership the companies say will improve the property/casualty claims process lifecycle, create efficiencies and reduce costs for insurance carriers.

The collaboration with Venbrook, a P/C claims third-party administrator and private insurance brokerage, expands the relationship with Cognizant as a services provider and market partner.

The partnership will include an agentic artificial intelligence-powered TPA claims service, co-developed by both companies, designed to help digitize components of the claims process value chain for carriers.

Under the agreement, Cognizant will provide Venbrook claims processing, policy administration, financial operations and compliance processing services. The companies plan to integrate agentic AI to manage complex claims tasks and orchestrate workflows, and generative AI to support the creation of customer communications that meet compliance requirements and predictive modeling to enable proactive decision-making.

The hopes are that the new operating model speeds up claims processing times, increases accuracy, drives efficiencies, supports early fraud detection, enables operations to scale to handle volume spikes, improves customer satisfaction and reduces operational costs for carriers.

Venbrook is licensed in all 50 states and works through a nationwide network of desk and field adjusters.
