EMPLOYERS Names Vogt, Chief Claims Officer, Senior Vice President

EMPLOYERS named Barry J. Vogt chief claims officer, senior vice president.

He leads the claim operations group and is responsible for claims strategy, medical management/managed care strategy, catastrophic claim management, fraud investigations, claim controls, regulatory compliance and subrogation effectiveness.

Vogt,who will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Reno, Nev., brings more than 29 years of experience in the insurance industry, and progressive management experience with various companies including Sedgwick Claims Management Services and Crawford & Company.

He holds a CPCU Professional Designation.
