Ringler Associates, Inc., a structured settlement company in the United States with over 130 consultants in more than 60 major cities, is pleased to announce the election of two new members to its board of directors.
Cindy Chanley, CSSC, based in the Louisville, Ky., office and John Machir, senior vice president of marketing, located in Bethesda, Md., have been chosen to serve on the board of directors.
Current board chairman, Ross Duncan, CSSC, in Blue Bell, Pa., has been re-elected.
Chanley joined Ringler in 2003. She has more than 30 years experience handling cases that include general liability, medical malpractice, workers compensation and non-traditional claims. She was the first woman to serve on the board of directors of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA) and she is a member of the National Association of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals (NAMSAP).
Machir’s career in the structured settlement industry began in 1981; he joined Ringler in 1988. He served as one of the original members of the board of directors at NSSTA in 1985. He served as recent past president of NSSTA and currently sits on the NSSTA board of directors.
Duncan, having joined Ringler in 1984, has 30 years of experience in the industry and has served on its board of directors since 2003. He is a certified structured settlement consultant and member of NAMSAP. Duncan and his staff have participated in almost 5,000 settlements utilizing structured settlements.
