Executive Appointments in ACE Risk Management and Foreign Casualty Announced

The ACE Group announced new leadership appointments in its ACE Risk Management and Foreign Casualty divisions.

In addition to his current role as chief operating officer, ACE Risk Management, Bill Rabl will assume direct management responsibility for the division’s nine branch offices across the U.S.

With a career spanning more than 26 years in the insurance arena, Rabl has held several senior management positions within ACE Risk Management since joining ACE in 2002.

Barbara Luck has been named executive vice president and chief underwriting officer, ACE Risk Management. Luck will lead the division’s underwriting strategy and activities throughout the U.S.

Luck has held several regional and home office underwriting leadership roles throughout her tenure at ACE since joining the company in 2001.

Both Luck and Rabl will report to Matt Merna, division president, ACE Risk Management.

Within ACE USA’s Foreign Casualty division, Bryan Tedford has been named senior vice president, ACE USA Foreign Casualty.

With more than 22 years in the property & casualty and accident & health arena in the U.S. and internationally, Tedford will have overall strategic responsibility for ACE USA’s foreign casualty product lines. He will also lead the group’s underwriting, marketing, and field operations.

Tedford joined ACE in February 2011, and most recently served as senior vice president, ACE USA Foreign Casualty National Field Operations. He will report to Ross Bertossi, division president, ACE USA Casualty Lines.

Tim Benson has been appointed to oversee the International Advantage suite of products serving both the retail (ACE USA) and small business (ACE Commercial Risk Services) segments, in addition to his current role as senior vice president, ACE Global Services. He will report jointly to Tedford and David Lupica, division president, ACE Commercial Risk Services, and has been with ACE since 2001.
