Sentry Insurance Unites With CargoNet to Combat Cargo Theft

Sentry Insurance has joined CargoNet, a division of Verisk’s ISO Crime Analytics unit, in an effort to combat cargo theft through information sharing between the insurance and trucking industries and law enforcement.

As a member, Sentry will provide its motor truck cargo insurance clients with added security to aid in theft prevention of cargo while in transit or at rest.

In addition, Sentry’s membership allows the company the ability to collaborate with multiple law enforcement agencies through timely reporting of incidents to the CargoNet database.
