They certainly favored state’s rights when it involved slavery. Why not now?

As one who never felt Shrub was elected justly the 1st time, I agreed with his action to limit frivilous awards and punitive damages. Im my state there is possible legislation that can make a biz 100% liable if found 1% negligent. (Supported by state trial lawyers of course.) It’s already a given this will drive some out of biz and increase costs to stay in biz and as is always the case, we will pay for it. We have seeded the lawyer’s money tree over decades as we have come to expect others to pay more for our mistakes. Fair recourse is one thing…that was lost years ago. And well, what background do most of our politicians have? Law. I’m waiting for the chance to be able to outsource lawyers maybe India or Korea huh?

Wait a minute: “The Obama administration has “overturned actions taken by Bush administration bureaucrats who were influenced by powerful, well-connected corporations,” said Les Weisbrod, president of the American Association for Justice, which represents trial lawyers around the country.”

Wait a minute….What happened to Obama’s campaign promise to not be partisan? And the Trial Lawyers aren’t themselves a well-connected, powerful organization? Give me a break. The Trial Lawyers are the lobbying politic here.

Gee isn’t this pure political payback to those who supported Obama oncemore at the cost to the American public?!

Get ready consumer the price of your insurance is going way up. Get ready doctors, medical professionals, and, yes, attourneys, as you will see skyrocketing Professional Liability renewals.

Goes against Human Nature, of which, the “Community Activist” knows nothing about.
God help our Country, we’re spiraling down, down, down…… to a new low- just like Public Schools have been lowering standards for years to make minorities look and feel good, rather than raising standards for all for the good of our Country. Artifical fixes like this have never worked and never will.

“Trial lawyers who file class-action lawsuits on behalf of millions of consumers praised Obama’s action.”

That’s all you need to know about this. Obooba is doing the bar’s bidding. Yippie! More lawsuits!
