Ok that’s enough. Don’t be afraid to post your real name. You must not have insurance with Erie or any of it’s affiliates. Please let me know and don’t lie. If you do, you better hope you don’t have a claim. And by the way, after what they have tried to pull on me—– It’s never enough. So, I’ll see ya on the internet as long as you keep reading. I’m glad people are actually reading the comments whether that like them or not. If you don’t like it, switch your insurance to Erie, have a claim then email me back. Too, I don’t care whether you like it or not— We live in the USA. I’m sure Erie doesn’t like the bad publicity. After you look at the “FBIC” which has nothing to do with me and see what they say about Erie then make your comment and also attach what the FBIC says about Erie. I’m loving freedom of speech on the internet. I will continue on, because I know you won’t forget the name Erie and I bet your insurance is with someone else.

    Hey Pat,

The beauty of the internet is getting the word out. Obviously, it works. I’ve got your attention. Now, Jeffrey A. Ludrof just up and quit Erie without having a replacement overnight. Why would a CEO do that to Erie? Do you even know what the “FBIC” is? They’re an unbiased group that speaks the truth. I’m just one example of what they are talking about. And you ask what does this have to do with the AIG story? I got you as a reader. Now do you understand”

    Greg,

Actually, I was with Erie and did have a claim – no problems. I moved my coverage for a whole other reason.

My bet is with Ludrof gone you will see some changes. I never cared for him as a person (yes, I knew him). He came from the claims background and saw it as a challenge to figure out how to torture the policy. It wasn’t that way when Milne was in charge.

A lot of it comes down to the agent. Erie has a bad habbit of appointing agents that know one thing – life insurance (except in NY where they don’t sell it). Agents don’t know enough to question the claims adjuster.

Don’t misunderstand my comments as disagreement, it’s just getting real old. Send letters, call your congressman, anything, just comment about the story – not your personal problems.

Even free speech can get you sued if you propagate it enough (but you should be ok as long as you stay within the realm of truth). It’s called a SLAPP suit. They don’t have to win, just cost you a lot of money.

    Greg & O.K.,

Actually, your duel is becoming quite entertaining. I don’t know who or what the FBIC is but I do know about B.O.H.I.C.A.; be prepared, it’s coming our way!

Greg – Your hatred of the Erie Insurance Group is astounding. Most people ignore what they detest. The more you post about Erie, the more you are showing you don’t have a clue what you are talking about. For starters, Ludrof was forced out. If you followed the true history of the company, you’d know that. As to why Erie is hard to buy insurance from…they are a preferred auto/home insurance carrier. They want the best of the best. They consistently win high grades from every rating service in existence. Agreeing with Mr. Okay, there was a rough ride when Ludrof was at the helm. Even now, things are rapidly improving. Why this is improving is because Tom Hagen returned as Chairman of the Board…and among the most successful run in company history is when he ran the company before. I’ve been in the independent agency system for nearly 25 years, combining current with prior positions, I have represented at least 20 different insurance carriers. I can state there are a lot of good companies out there, and I can also state that Erie is one of the very best.

    Pat,

I figured you had some sort of relations with Erie. I appreciate your honosty. Now, I’m not afraid of a slap suit. The word I’m putting out is I want people to look at the “FBIC”. Have you heard of the term “Let’s dry them out”. I’m not saying anything that is not true. I did beat Erie in court already and of course, they appealed. I’m going all the way with this because they are wrong. I even got Jeff in a lie to the Tn. insurance commission and have the proof. I wished I knew of the FBIC before buying insurance. I’m simply putting on the internet what the “FBIC” is stating. They’ve gather the information, not me. There is no law against that. I’ve always have said the FBIC says they’re a bad faith insurance company and they say buy at your own greatest risk when you buy from them. So, pull that webb sight up and see for yourself. After you look at that webb sight, tell me where they have Erie rated and what number. They have them listed at number 24 in the hall of shame as of yesterday.

    I checked the website.
Yeah…this is good. Lawyers rating insurance companies.
Thanks, Greg! That’s the best laugh I’ve had all day.
