I wonder if “Baby Bumbo” (look on Yahoo videos) will be switching to a different model; though this one seems to serve well enough with dog and clone fighting.
SFOinsurancelady: Actually, I love children and my wife and I have four, none of which fell out of any child seat for two reasons. First, my wife and I made them our parenting priority and didn’t leave them un-atteneded. Second, we used the safety features (straps) that cam with the items. Sometimes parents, especially young and stupid ones, don’t anticipate what kinds of things could create a dangerous condition. You don’t have to be a genius to anticipate normal infant “thrashing” in a lightweight seat, and realize that it may not be safe to just place it where it’s convenient for you.
And one other thing. Why don’t you stop your usual bleeding heart comments and deal with the issue at hand instead of insulting others. Do you have any intelligent insurance related comments regarding this issue?
“If the stupid parents took the time to use the safety straps to secure little “Dumbo” into the “Bumbo”, the little @astards wouldn’t fall out of the seat and roll onto the floor.”
What – Did I hit a nerve? Sure glad you’re not one of my parents!
Want to talk insurance? Don’t get me started…My biggest pet peeve has to be people taking responsibility for their own actions. The article does not mention it, but I am wondering, how may lawsuits are filed even though the cause was due to the parents’ own negligence. Not to mention the attorneys that are hired knowing how deep the insurance companies’ pockets really are.
Bleeding heart? No…..
Make those accountable? Yes……..
I’m sure glad you’re not one of my kids!! No, you didn’t hit any nerve. I just have zero tolerance for ignorant, judgmental people whose only input is their personal feelings on a subject instead of focusing on the insurance perspective of these topics. I take it you don’t since once again, you’ve made it personal.
Chin-You must mean the more substantive comments like yours? I quote again:
“If the stupid parents took the time to use the safety straps to secure little “Dumbo” into the “Bumbo”, the little @astards wouldn’t fall out of the seat and roll onto the floor.”
(LOL – sorry…..you set yourself up for that one!!!)
What happened to IJ Posts? There was a time when people could post and have discussions without insulting each other by calling names and using derrogatorry terms.

Chin,
To use your own words:

I see you still have no substantive comments on the topic. Pls. contribute or just shut up.
