Way to go doofus (name calling in return). If you would have taken the time to get your head out of it’s usual place, you would have seen that I did not say anything about leaving a child on an elevated surface and walking away. Just pointed out that children can move quicker than you can. PS: learn how to type.

It isn’t supposed to be something you put your kid in and walk away…

It never ceases to amaze me that people think that there is a substitute for personal responsibility for the wellbeing of your own child – When you buy a product for your kid – there is certain responsibility on your part to look at it, examine it, put your kid in it and see if it could cause a problem and you buy it!

I went to the website and looked at this thing and there is no way that a person of “average intelligence” wouldn’t know that the kid could fall out of it if they were left unattended. Does the word “DUH” mean anything?

Glad I grew up in an age when there weren’t even seat belts in cars – I might have hurt myself

Even if you are right beside the seat, it only takes a moment for a child to move in the “wrong direction” and fall out. At least they can’t fall off the floor.

Reagan, please re-read No’s post again.
I think you have it wrong.

Azaz, I couldn’t have said it better myself…my biggest pet peeve is that people don’t want to take responsibility for their own actions. Why don’t the other manufacturers of baby seats recall their chairs, too? I’m sure that Bumbo isn’t the only child seat that had “toppled over”!

My son has one for his child, and amazingly the instructions do tell you to not put on an elevated surface nor leave the child unattended.

He does put it up on the table when they feed the baby, on the floor the other times. Oh, and they do not leave the room or the house or whatever these other goof-balls are doing. My son just laughed when I told him about the rediculous recall.

If the stupid parents took the time to use the safety straps to secure little “Dumbo” into the “Bumbo”, the little @astards wouldn’t fall out of the seat and roll onto the floor.

I guess you were never a kid, huh, Chin?
I think you’re not too keen on children, too…..it’s too bad since you sure know how to act like one.

PS….has it ever occured to you that the child, even strapped into the seat, can tumble off the table and onto the floor with the seat on top of him? But noticing how you feel about children, why would you care? Veritas?
