C. V. Starr & Co. Inc.has renamed its marine insurance subsidiaries to Starr Marine. Effective immediately, American International Marine Agency of New York, Inc. (AIMA) will be known as Starr Marine Agency, Inc.
In addition to announcing the Starr Marine name, the agency unveiled a new company logo. Centered within the Starr Marine name, the logo design prominently features a compass rose, a very recognizable symbol in the history of marine navigation.
To further increase awareness of its new name and logo, Starr Marine plans to place new print advertising. Featuring the headline, “New Name, Same Commitment”, the advertisement reiterates Starr Marine’s unmatched level of customer service and steadfast commitment to the global marine industry. The advertisement will appear in leading insurance and maritime industry publications throughout the remainder of 2006.
