AXA Art Insurance announced it is offering a $100,000 reward for credible information leading to the location, recovery and return of seven Milton Avery paintings that have been reported missing while en route from Boca Raton to New York.

The driver and truck left Boca Raton for a routine delivery to New York. The shipping company’s dispatcher last made contact with the driver on April 19, 2006. Both driver and truck were reported missing on April 20, 2006.

The missing truck is described as an International make box truck with Oklahoma License Plate # 2EP381, rented from Budget Truck Rental.

AXA Art and the authorities are appealing to the public for help. Anyone with information leading to the whereabouts of the missing driver and delivery truck may confidentially contact Detective Mike Mauro from the Palm Beach County Sheriff Department at (561) 688-4090 or Greg Smith from G.J.
