DPI Unveils ‘Rapid Reports – Reports in 5 Business Days’

Diversified Product Inspections Inc., a provider of independent product failure analysis, air contamination and fire investigations for the insurance industry, has unveiled a new program called “Rapid Reports–Reports in 5 Business Days.”

W. Warren Wankelman, vice president of marketing, noted, “DPI is pleased to announce the launching of a new inspection report processing procedure called ‘Rapid Reports–Reports in 5 Business Days.’ Currently DPI’s target turnaround time for a standard product liability report is 14 business days. By changing from a batch system to a single piece even flow system we have reduced that time by 9 business days. Turnaround time is very important to our insurance industry clients, and to the best of our knowledge, this will be the fastest turnaround time for forensic investigative reports in the country.

“Rapid Reports does have a few restrictions, but basically applies to all Mail-In Level I and most Level II Inspections. Large items that require shipping and Level III inspections which are more detailed engineered reports are usually not eligible for Rapid Reports processing,” according to Wankelman.
