GAB Robins Names Almon VP of MedInsights Subsidiary

GAB Robins has named Cecilia Almon vice president of its MedInsights subsidiary effective immediately.

MedInsights offers a wide range of managed care services to help employers, state funds, insurers and other providers of auto, group health, general liability and workers’ compensation benefits manage their programs effectively. In this position, Almon has responsibility for all MedInsights’ operations.

Most recently, she served as director of MedInsights’ Medical Analysis Center, overseeing the company’s First Report of Incident, Telephonic Case Management, Utilization Review and Medical Bill Management functions.

Previously, she held senior medical management positions with Focus
Healthcare Management/United Healthcare Inc. and GAB Robins.
