Furlong to Lead Lawyers Professional Liability at GE Insurance Solutions

GE Insurance Solutions has named Mike Furlong to lead its Lawyers Professional Liability unit. Furlong is a 10-year veteran of GE Insurance Solutions with a diverse background in claims leadership.

Previously at GE Insurance Solutions Furlong served as the medical liability practice claims leader. He received his Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification earlier this year. Prior to his role in Six Sigma, he has served in other claims leadership roles.

He is licensed to practice law in the states of Missouri and Kansas.

Lawyers Professional Liability is a $100 million division of GE Insurance Solutions. Policies are underwritten on the paper of Westport Insurance Corp.
