Sedgwick CMS Holdings Inc. is a private, investor-owned company. It is the parent company and 100 percent owner of Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. (Sedgwick CMS), a North American provider of claims and productivity management services.
The principal shareholders of Sedgwick CMS Holdings Inc. are Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. (MMC) through its risk and insurance services firm Marsh Inc., and Trident II, L.P., a private equity fund managed by Stone Point Capital LLC. Their ownership grew out of MMC’s acquisition of Sedgwick Group plc in 1998.
