A.M. Best Affirms FSR for Esurance

A.M. Best has affirmed the financial strength ratings of both Esurance Insurance Company and Esurance Property and Casualty Insurance Company, members of the White Mountains Insurance Group Ltd. Both companies’ financial strength ratings remain “A” (Excellent), with a stable outlook.

Esurance, a direct-to-consumer personal auto insurance company, is reportedly one of the fastest growing auto insurance companies in the U.S. based on year-over-year premium growth. Esurance now has more than 165,000 policyholders in 19 states.

The company also reportedly expects to start writing business in Indiana, Minnesota, and Wisconsin later this year.
