Specialty Risk Services Appoints Darden CFO

Specialty Risk Services (SRS), a national property casualty third party administrator for workers’ compensation and general liability claims, announced the appointment of John Darden to the position of chief financial officer.

As such, Darden is responsible for managing all aspects of SRS’ financial operations, including all financial reporting, plans and forecasts, billing, cash management and product pricing. In addition, Darden oversees SRS’ Actuarial & Benchmarking Operations, as well as their technology areas.

Darden joins SRS from Acordia Inc. (a Wells Fargo Company) headquartered in Chicago. During his years with Acordia as senior vice president and chief financial officer, Darden was charged with overseeing all financial operations in the East Region.

He also held chief financial officer positions with SGS North America Inc. and GAB Robins North America Inc.
