Authorities have arrested two Minneapolis residents who they say stole roughly $8,000 worth of merchandise from a Wal-Mart in Minot, N.D.
Police said Sunday they arrested the 22-year-old and 24-year-old on Friday after responding to a report of a stolen cell phone. It’s unclear if they’ve been charged.
Police say they identified the suspects using surveillance footage. They say they pulled over the pair Friday and found some of the stolen merchandise in their car.
Police say they found a hotel room key in a squad car after taking the pair to the Ward County Jail. Police say they searched the hotel room and found more items stolen from Wal-Mart.
