Rapid City, S.D., police are investigating a rash of business burglaries.
Since Oct. 12, 11 burglaries have been reported at a variety of businesses, from restaurants to office buildings. The majority of the break-ins happened overnight.
Police say in most cases, burglars gained access through a door or window and got away with money.
Authorities are encouraging members of the public to be vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity.
