Risk International announced that Michael Thoits has joined the outsourced risk management provider.
Risk International offers risk management, insurance claims mitigation, loss prevention, claims recovery, due diligence and benefits advisory services.
Founded in 1986, it serves Fortune 1000 and private companies from offices in London,Singapore, North Carolina and Ohio, where it is headquartered in Fairlawn and has offices in Cleveland and Columbus.
Thoits joins Risk International as managing director. Previously, he served as vice president of risk management for a $2.3 billion auto parts manufacturer that operates in 18 countries. His experiences also include serving as an insurance coverage attorney and an extensive background in claims and all lines of insurance, including primary and excess.
