The Chrysler Foundation and groups and individuals have donated about $65,000 toward flooding relief in central Indiana’s Tipton County.
The Kokomo Tribune reports the Tipton County Foundation has received about $65,000 toward flood relief. The Chrysler Foundation donated $25,000 toward the Tipton County efforts in addition to $25,000 it gave to the United Way of Howard County for relief efforts following the April flooding.
Tipton County Foundation Executive Director Frank Giammarino, says that besides the Chrysler Foundation gift, about $15,000 has come from individuals, and $25,000 has come from churches, clubs, organizations, professional offices, and other businesses.
