Authorities in east-central Illinois are looking for a few hundred volunteers to play the part of victims and bystanders in a disaster drill.
The exercise is scheduled to take place July 27 in Atwood and Garrett.
The Douglas County Emergency Management Agency says it needs about 210 people to take part.
Agency Director Joe Victor tells The (Champaign) News-Gazette that some of them are needed to take on the role of affected property owners and to assist with exercises simulating post-disaster cleanup.
Anyone interested can contact the agency at 217-253-9538.
