FEMA Teams in Indiana to Assess Flood Damage

May 7, 2013

Federal Emergency Management Agency teams are in Indiana assessing the damage from recent flooding that also claimed the lives of two people.

The FEMA staffers visited Kokomo on Thursday and found the number of homes affected by the high water there has more than tripled from 100 to 350.

Abby Workman is working to get her house in shape. She tells WTHR-TV she’s going to have to rip out some walls after mold started forming.

People who live in Howard, Tipton, Madison or Wabash counties who want FEMA representatives to visit their properties should contact their local emergency management agency.
