A Fergus Falls, Minn., woman has filed a federal lawsuit that claims she was injured by a foreign object while drinking a glass of orange juice.
Debbi Jo Larson is suing the former parent of Cass-Clay Creamery, Associated Milk Producers, Inc., of New Ulm.
Larson’s lawsuit says a sharp piece of plastic lodged in her throat when she was drinking the orange juice. KFGO reports Larson is seeking in excess of $75,000.
Associated Milk Producers spokeswoman Sarah Schmidt says the company doesn’t comment on pending litigation.
