A Huron, S.D., man who says he was paralyzed when sheets of plywood blew off a loading cart and struck him in the head at the Menards store in Mitchell is suing the home-improvement retailer.
The Daily Republic newspaper reports that Ronald Jensen and his wife, Bonita, seek unspecified monetary damages for the Aug. 1 incident in which Ronald Jensen says he lost the use of his arms and legs.
Menards acknowledges the incident happened but denies any negligence. The company is seeking to have the lawsuit dismissed.
