One of two Fargo, N.D., men accused of burglarizing home construction sites has been sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to more than 20 counts of conspiracy.
The Forum newspaper reports that 35-year-old Jason Leines also must serve five years of supervised probation and pay restitution to be determined later.
Prosecutors allege that Leines and Jeremy Tibiatowski stole equipment worth more than $10,000, mostly from home construction sites in Fargo, West Fargo, Argusville and Kindred. Tibiatowski has pleaded not guilty.
