IMA, Inc., an independent insurance broker in the U.S. with offices in Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, Topeka and Wichita, announced the hiring of Geoff Baker, claims manager, and Maranda Pike, claims advocate.
“We are excited to welcome Geoff and Maranda to the IMA team,” said Jeff Grace, president of IMA’s Wichita office. “Claims handling is a critical area for our clients and we have developed a laser focus on superior insurance claims filing, communication, and resolution so adding top talent to support this initiative is very important to us.”
As claims manager, Baker will lead the claims department and will strive to improve clients’ long-term profitability through claims management processes and strategies. Prior to joining IMA, Baker worked in risk management for a large national corporation for 12 years. He is a member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society.
Pike will handle claims for clients in various industries including manufacturing and financial services. Prior to joining IMA, Pike spent 12 years as a casualty claims manager for a large national insurance provider. She holds the Senior Claims Law Associate designation.
