An Iowa man is suing over injuries he allegedly received in a bar fight on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.
Ron Carpenter, of West Des Moines, Iowa, has filed a federal complaint against Joshua Luger and the Last Chance Saloon for the October 2010 incident.
Carpenter says he suffered severe injuries to his head and face when he was assaulted by Luger at the bar in Solen. He says the bar was negligent for serving Luger liquor and failing to provide adequate security.
Carpenter says he has suffered actual damages of $25,000, plus wages.
The defendants could not be reached for comment.
