A Wisconsin man accused of using obituary notices and estate sale listings to burglarize homes of the recently deceased is facing 31 additional criminal charges in Sheboygan County.
Prosecutors say more victims have emerged and identified stolen items found at Dennis Petrie’s Town of Sheboygan Falls home.
A judge has ordered Petrie to stand trial on a total of 50 counts of theft, burglary and firearms charges.
The Sheboygan Press says the 62-year-old Petrie remains free on $25,000 bond. He was arrested in March.
