Fargo, N.D., police are aiming to make the city’s roads safer for cyclists.
Police Chief Keith Ternes says a public education effort called Share the Road Fargo was unveiled Wednesday. He says the safety campaign will feature a website and televised public service announcements that will begin airing this month.
He says the effort is aimed at educating drivers and bicyclists about how to share the road safely.
Ternes says bicycle safety courses also will be offered through a partnership between police and the city’s park district.
