Founders Insurance Company Now Offering Renters Insurance in Illinois

Des Plaines, Ill.-based Founders Insurance Company, a writer of non-standard personal and light commercial automobile and homeowners coverages, plus garage liability and liquor and general liability for the hospitality industry, launched a new personal property and liability endorsement to its Illinois personal automobile policies.

The optional renter’s coverage, available as of January 1, 2012, insures the garaging location of the vehicle against loss to contents from various perils, as well as the renter’s liability.

The endorsement complements the company’s diverse portfolio of property and casualty products.
