The Detroit Fire Department says it responded to six suspicious fires at vacant homes on the city’s north side.
Arson Unit Lt. Dennis Richardson told the Detroit Free Press that the first of four fires on one street was reported at 3:50 a.m. Monday. He says two more were reported later on two streets a few blocks away.
No injuries were reported. The fire department was seeking tips from the public.
Richardson says the department responded to a similar series of three fires Thursday morning on the city’s west side.
