A fire that started in a laundry room has caused $30,000 in damage to a home in Norwalk, Iowa.
The Norwalk Fire Department says in a news release that firefighters were called to the home Friday afternoon. The home’s owner says she had been away for about five hours and returned to find the single-story house full of smoke.
