The Rebuild Iowa Office plans to help residents wade through information about recovery programs available for those affected by last year’s devastating floods.
Officials from the Iowa Finance Authority, Department of Economic Development and National Flood Insurance Program will attend a forum Sept. 5 to discuss the various programs.
Although individual case management services won’t be available, presentations will help explain flood insurance and recovery programs.
Organizers say they want to make sure residents have accurate information and get the assistance they need.
The Rebuild Iowa Office was created to help coordinate local, state and federal recovery efforts following the severe flooding and tornadoes that hit the state last year.
