    Gosh Doug, you’re absolutely right. No one has any personal responsibility and the new nanny state will hold our hands all of our lives and we won’t have to think or act for ousselves ever again.

    PS You were right about the railroads having to foot the bill for new crossing gates, not the taxpayers.

    Do you know how many train crossings there are in Ohio? It’s not possible to spend the amount of money needed to make these “perfectly” safe. Idiots will find a way around them. It’s a fact of life that some people are dumb enough to think that a minute or two saved to get to the grocery store is worth their life. You need to get realistic here. There isn’t enough money in the world to fix the stupid out there.
