A Lone Tree, Iowa man who says his neighbor’s dog bit him in the face is suing.
Jack Sines claims in the lawsuit filed last week in Johnson County that his neighbors did not properly supervise their dog.
Sines says that when he went to Stephen and Doreen Brorby’s house to discuss their barking dogs, one of the dogs jumped onto the fence and bit him.
Sines claims that one of the Brorby’s ordered the dog to “get him” or “sic him.”
Sines is claiming past and future medical expenses, past and future pain, mental anguish and loss of bodily function. He is seeking actual and punitive damages.
A message left Monday for the Brorbys wasn’t immediately returned.
