Swift County authorities say four people have been arrested in connection with extensive vandalism at a Murdock, Minn. school.
Officials at KMS Elementary School say vandals shattered windows, discharged fire extinguishers and spray-painted parts of the school. Computers and other equipment were also damaged.
The damage was discovered Wednesday morning and estimated between $50,000 and $100,000.
The four suspects all live together. Two are 29 years old and the other two are 18.
Sheriff Scott Mattison says the four were already known to authorities . He says they were arrested within an hour of the vandalism’s discovery because several citizens were so prompt in reporting suspicious activity.
