In Arizona several children will die this summer due to two causes: 1. being left in a car and suffering heat stroke 2. drowning in their backyard pool (or that of a family member).

Each year, the debate is made as to whether the parents that 1. leave their kid in the car to roast, or, 2. turn their backs for the few moments it takes for their child to slip into the pool, should be charged with a crime. Year after year, we allow those that kill their children (yes, they caused the death – that equals killing their kids!) to go free. We say they’ve suffered enough; they have to live with the loss of a child, etc.

In considering how we allow people to cook their kids in the car, or allow people to neglect their children thus leading to drowing, I guess we should be glad he got 5 years!!

It would be interesting to know how many times he’s driven drunk before. Too bad it took a death to get him off the road.

to you angry vicious ones-at least by killing his own kid the genetic impact of his stupidity will be reduced…. I wonder how many times he drove drunk before?? Glad he didn’t get one of my kids I’d have had to drown him in Cuervo after I skinned him rolled him in salt and left him in the sun although I do like the taser suggestion

I live in a county with the highest DUI conviction rate in NYS and I’m proud of it. Our local paper posts pictures of these idiots with names every week and they write to the editor sniveling how they should not be featured in the DUI section.

how can anyone call that any kind of justice when my man received almost 10yr sentence for fleeing/eluding. He didn’t kill ANYONE! and he was sentenced by the same judge.
