How many clients are willing/interested to take time to do a review of their policies even say every 3-4 years (forget annual). I’d say it’s like 1 in 10 who will. Insurance policies sure do cover a whole broad spectrum of perils, but there are still many exclusions that folks should be aware of. Earthquakes !!! I ‘tremor’ at the thought.
Do any of you remember back in the early 1990s when a guy and his daughter were prognosticating that a big earthquake was going to hit St. Louis on a particular date? Everyone was adding the earthquake endorsement until the insurance companies quit allowing it. Of course that day came and went without incident and everyone took it back off their policies.
