Yea, right guys, shes gonna tell her State Farm dad that she is quiting to start her own agency and compete against him at 18 years old. That should go over well.

She should remember though, State Farm Agents do not own their book of business, and CANNOT pass it on to a child.

When her dad is ready to retire St Farm will look for the best agent they can get for the area, and if they dont think its her, SHES OUT! Ive seen it done.

Hello to all who read this! It was interesting reading all of these posts. I didn’t even know my article was on here but I found it when my brother googled my name! I appreciate all the congragulations. Also, I noticed that many of you suggested that I look into other companies and I just wanted to state my contentment with State Farm. I have been around the company almost my whole life, including working here since I was 14. I am very impressed with the company and look forward to hopefully becoming an agent. I urge all of you to look into working with State Farm.

    Thanks again for the encourgement,
    Heather Gaskill
