It saddens me to say that on the NBC5 web site the body of Matthew Soumakis was pulled from the Chicago River this morning.. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and wife. God bless them all…
My heart goes out to the family. I did not know Matt, but when I see the photos of him, I just kind of melt and wish that I did. He is such a handsome guy with a great smile and looks so happy. I only wish I had been at the bar that night. I would have made sure he got back to his hotel room safely rather than leaving with that older man. I\’m concerned there is foul play and I hope they locate that \”distinguished\” older man and find out what happened.
