The Ohio Casualty Insurance Company (Ohio Casualty), a member company of Ohio Casualty Group, headquartered in Fairfield, Ohio, is working with LYNX Services, an outsource claims administrator, to manage its auto glass and collision claims. This program is a contributor to Ohio Casualty’s customer service efforts as well as its financial performance objectives.
Ohio Casualty began its relationship with LYNX in 2002 for auto glass claims management. Due to the reported success of the auto glass program, Ohio Casualty expanded the relationship in 2003 to incorporate auto physical damage claims management solutions, which include the LYNXSelect DRP (Direct Repair Program), estimate auditing, and rental car concierge.
Ohio Casualty adjusters are connected to LYNX via a Web-based portal, which provides access to a national network of qualified repair facilities. Using this portal, LYNX manages the entire collision repair process by dispatching jobs, retrieving repair estimates and images, auditing to Ohio Casualty’s criteria, re-inspecting repair quality, and maintaining data and documentation.
