Lorega promoted Angus Tucker to the role of chief executive and Martin Almond to the role of chief operations officer of Lorega Solutions Limited, its wholly owned chartered loss adjusting business.
Their new roles reflect an increased level of activity delivered on behalf of policyholders as a result of LRI business growth and the handling of a larger number of after the event claims.
Tucker joined Lorega Solutions in 2010 as the chief operations officer. He was previously a claims director at Grant Thornton and before that at Deloitte. He qualified as a chartered loss adjuster with GAB Robins UK where he was employed for 25 years. He is a past president of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and his qualifications include FCILA, ACII, FUEDI-ELAE, FIFAA and MRAC.
He has over 37 years of experience working on claims and his previous clients range from helping those who suffered in Hurricane Ivan in the Cayman Islands to corporate recovery in the UK.
Almond joined Lorega Solutions in 2012 from Claim Experts. Prior to that he was a director of McLarens Toplis where he was responsible for operations in the Thames Valley and South coast region. He qualified as a chartered loss adjuster in 1989 and has over 30 years’ experience of dealing with a wide range of claims for both commercial and high net worth clients.
