Starr Companies, an international provider of property, casualty, and accident & health insurance products as well as a range of specialty coverages including aviation, marine, energy and excess casualty insurance, announced the appointment of Jeffrey Hayman to the position of president of International Insurance Operations.
Hayman will be responsible for the overall growth, profitability, distribution, and product offerings outside of the United States. He will report directly to Maurice R. Greenberg, chairman and chief executive officer of Starr Insurance Holdings, Inc.
“Jeff possesses a strong understanding of international business and his experience, particularly in Asia, is a unique fit for our organization. As part of our senior team, we expect that he will contribute to our continued growth in the international marketplace,” Greenberg stated.
Hayman has over thirty years of experience as an executive with leading insurance organizations. He has worked in the United States as well as Asia, and he is a director at both The Korea Society and The Japan Society.
He also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations.
