Police say an overcrowded car has veered off a mountain road in western Nepal, killing nine people and injuring 11.
Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle Wednesday near Sirama village, which is located some 400 kilometers (250 miles) west of Katmandu.
Police say the vehicle rolled about 300 meters (1,000 feet) before getting caught in trees.
The injured have been taken to nearby hospitals.
