XL Appoints Harris Chief Executive for International Property & Casualty Insurance

The insurance segment of XL Group plc announced the appointment of Jason Harris as chief executive of its international P&C insurance business.

Harris will be based in London and report to Greg Hendrick, CEO of XL’s insurance segment. Upon joining XL, Harris will become a member of the insurance segment’s Executive Board.

Harris has worked at Chartis Insurance UK Ltd in various property and casualty underwriting executive positions. He most recently held the role of executive director commercial lines for the UK, with responsibility for a diverse product mix.

Prior to joining Chartis (then AIG) in 2006, Harris held various positions with Chubb Insurance Company of Europe for almost ten years.
